Our Story
The idea for The Bridge began with a few mature Christians who wanted to see more from their faith than simply “doing church.” They realized that their faith wasn’t complete in only growing themselves, but that they needed to share the powerful way it had impacted their lives with others who have not yet experienced that influence in their own lives.
This group began meeting weekly in their homes to pray, worship, and learn together and contacted the North Central District of the C&MA in hopes to gain support for planting a new church in Watertown, SD. The district acknowledged the need and began to search for a pastor and support in other ways as well. Nate and Megan Yoder arrived to Watertown in April 2012 to lead the group. The Yoders were called by God in 2020 to serve in Berlin, Germany. We trust the Lord to bring us our next pastor.
