gradsIt’s that time of year!  Spring rains are falling and students are completing their final semesters of High School or college and walking across the stage.  This Sunday (5/26) we will be celebrating with and honoring our graduates.  We’ll be enjoying a potluck meal following the service and will be presenting them each with a gift.

One of the things that is at the very heart of the Christian and Missionary Alliance and The Bridge is world missions.  This coming Sunday (5/26) we will be celebrating that heritage as we hear from some former missionaries who are part of our church family, and seeing some of what the Alliance is doing to impact the far reaches of the world for Jesus.  A special offering will be available to give to the Great Commission Fund which is how the Alliance funds it’s foreign missionaries.  Check out the 2013 Great Commission Sunday promotional video by clicking here.

It’s great to be a part of making our community beautiful in many ways!  One of those ways we are doing this is to help the parks department plant flowers along Hwy 81.  Many hands make light (and fun) work, so come on out and join us!  We’re meeting on Saturday (5/18) at 9:00am in the Hofteizer Realty parking lot (corner of 2nd Ave SE and Hwy 81).  See you there!
